Stimulate collagen regeneration and healing through a combination of therapies. During your consultation our clinical experts will determine the type of stretch marks, depth, width, colour and if they are raised or indented this will determine the type of treatment recommened. We have extremely successful results in dramatically improving the look and feel of stretch marks.
Our treatments work to encourage rapid skin repair and renewal by naturally stimulating a healing response on a cellular level. They aid in smoothing uneven texture, raised tissues and discoloration that will progressively remodel stretch marks.
Skin Needling is a device with tiny micro needles oscillating at a high intensity to gently pierce the skin. This stimulates the natural healing process, mimicking the surrounding healthy cells. Collagen and elastin fibers are stimulated, giving the skin support and structure to the skin while reducing the colour and appearance of stretch marks in some cases making them disappear completely.
LASER SKIN THERAPY
The main objective of laser treatment for stretch marks is to stimulate the skin’s natural healing process. Together with helping the skin produce more collagen, it directly helps decrease the colour under the stretch mark. This treatment will work on all stretchmarks that have colour. This treatment uses Intense Pulsed Light to harnesses the power of light transferring into heat energy to target discolouration in the skin.

Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT ARE STRETCH MARKS?
A stretch mark is a type of scar that develops when our skin stretches or shrinks quickly. The abrupt change causes the collagen and elastin, which support our skin, to rupture. As the skin heals, stretch marks may appear. Stretch marks appear as parallel streaks of red, thinned glossy skin that over time become whitish and scarlike in appearance.
WHAT CAUSES STRETCH MARKS?
WHAT IS SKIN NEEDLING?
Skin Needling uses a handheld device with tiny micro needles oscillating at a high intensity to gently pierce the skin. This action stimulates the skins natural healing process, leading to the production of collagen and elastin fibres. stretch marks are due to our collagen and elastin fibres breaking. Collagen and elastin fibres give the skin support and structure, but this starts to degenerate with age causing fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin texture, stretch marks, laxity, and sagging.
HOW DOES SKIN NEEDLING WORK?
Skin Needling helps to rebuild the tissue within the stretch marks though the production of collagen. This builds up the indentation and reduces the colour of the stretch marks, in some cases making them disappear completely
WHAT PRECAUTIONS SHOULD I TAKE PRE AND POST TREATMENT?
We recommend wearing a daily sunscreen prior to your treatment to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays and to avoid stimulation of melanocytes pre-treatment. We advise keeping the area to be treated out of the sun both pre and post treatment for at least 4 weeks.
Please do not use any prescription Vitamin A for 1 week prior to your treatment and no harsh acids or scrubs for at least 5 days post treatment.
We always recommend the daily use of SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent the skin becoming sun damaged. Please apply at least once every two hours when out in the sun to prevent post-inflammatory hyper pigmentation
After skin needling it is important to keep the area treated clean to prevent infection post treatment.

Laser skin therapy: A series of 7 sessions is recommended for best results, spacing the treatments out every 3 weeks. We recommend combining the treatment with skin needling for best results.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?
We begin with a thorough two-step cleansing and exfoliating process, followed by sterilising the skin. A topical anaesthetic numbing cream is then applied to the skin for 10-15 minutes, once the skin is numb we will begin the skin needling. We start with a 0.25 mm needle depth, where we go over the entire treatment area and check your skins response, we then turn the needle to 0.5mm and repeat the process, check your skin and repeat on a higher setting up to 3mm until we achieve the end result of tiny pinpoint bleeding. During the entire treatment we very thoroughly go over your main areas of concern.
