Our Cutera reduces the appearance of pigmentation as the laser is attracted to the pigment within the skin. 

The pigmentation in the skin absorbs the light which is then converted to heat which works to shatter the pigment. Once treated, the pigmentation spots will instantly darken and the pigment will be drawn to the surface where it then fades or flakes off the surface of the skin.

1-4 treatments is required for best results. We recommend pairing this treatment with medical microdermabrasion or chemical peels. Correct home-care products are required to protect and prevent the recurrence of pigmentation.

This treatment is best performed in winter as sun exposure has to be avoided for a full two weeks before and after treatment.
