1. Resurface the epidermis

The first step to skin you'll love is to resurface the epidermis, the upper layer of the skin. This is most effectively and safely done in-clinic with treatments such as peels and microdermabrasion.
This removes any congested skin which can contribute to acne, and allow skincare ingredients to better penetrate the skin. The treatment also causes receptors in the skin to stimulate the cells in the layer at the bottom of the epidermis, where new cells reproduce. As we age these cells slow down in regeneration, taking longer to move up to the skin's surface causing it to look dull, lifeless, show wrinkles, dehydration, and have a generally uneven texture.
