WHAT IS DIATHERMY?

WHAT PRECAUTIONS SHOULD I TAKE PRE AND POST CARE?
Pre treatment care: We recommend wearing a daily sunscreen prior to your treatment to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. If your skin is peeling or sunburnt, we recommend that you wait a few weeks for the peeling or burn to subside. Please do not use any prescription Vitamin A for 1 week prior to your treatment.
Post Treatment: We recommend no harsh acids or scrubs for at least 5 days post treatment. Your dermal therapist will guide you on a recommended skin care program for your skin concerns. Sunscreen must be worn for a minimum of 14 days post treatment to prevent post-inflammatory hyper pigmentation.
We always recommend the daily use of SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent the skin becoming sun damaged. Please apply at least once every two hours when out in the sun.
